Ways To Empower Yourself

42-15689883

Everyone deserves a wholesome life.
Be optimistic, disciplined, and adopt a holistic approach, to achieve longevity.

Health:
1. Drink plenty of water.
2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and
dinner like a beggar.
3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat
less food that is manufactured in plants.
4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
5. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, and prayer.
6. Play more games.
7. Read more books.
8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
9. Sleep for 7 hours.
10. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you
walk, smile.

Personality:

11. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
12. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead
invest your energy in the positive present moment.
13. Don't over do. Keep your limits.
14. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
15. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.
16. Dream more while you are awake.
17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
18. Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with his/her
mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.
20. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
21. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
22. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems
are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra
class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
23. Smile and laugh more.
24. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Society:
25. Call your family often.
26. Each day give something good to others.
27. Forgive everyone for everything.
28. Spend time with people over the age of 70; under the age of 6.
29. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
30. What other people think of you is none of your business.
31. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will.
Stay in touch.

Life:
32. Do the right thing!
33. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
34. GOD heals everything.
35. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
36. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
37. The best is yet to come.
38. When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it.
39. Your Inner most is always happy. So, be happy.

C'est La Vie

layoutimageWe love and hate, cry and laugh, go up and down, experience happiness and sadness, treasure and cherish. But above them all, we learn, and grow.

It is only after experiences, mistakes, and opportunities, that we discover what is good, what is bad, what is right what is wrong, what to incorporate and what to steer clear of. We then reflect, realize, and change.

We learn that life is like driving a manual car; gears have to be shifted, changes made, sometimes we have to accelerate, or slow down; but of all we need to be in control, know what we're doing, and where we're headed. Life will teach you to manage, deal, and survive, and especially when to open your eyes, and when to close them.

Earth is the best school, to build yourself.
We are granted one chance at this life, but many chances to make it right..

Nine Pointers For Men From Women

  1. Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
  1. Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
  1. Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.
  1. Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!
  1. Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)
  1. That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
  1. Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' . that will bring on a 'whatever').
  1. Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying F-- YOU!
Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

Happiness in Fragments

happiness_of_katakuris

It can't always be happy days.

Happy times come sparingly, accidentally, and luckily.

The straight road to eternity is impossible without bumps and humps.

There can't be a whole week in absolute happiness without the least of one grey, blue day.

Days complete with high spirits, good luck, and cheery moods would mean perfection, and such a seamless quality exists not. Perfection is not reality, because perfection is God's ideal.

Happiness comes only in fragments, bits and pieces, parts and portions; either in a day, within a week, a month, or maybe a whole year. Sadness or bad days are a plague no human can avoid.

Romance Is Key

To unlock the door into a woman's heart and be welcomed into our life, use romance that initiates from your heart. We are all suckers for sweet gestures and charm. Handle our heart with delicacy. We appreciate fine arts if you are craving a seat in our heart, along with beautiful lines of literature and poetry.

emergency-romance-kitSweep us off our feet with kind, gentleman ways. Bathe in the admiration of our beauty. Show us you know what romance is, make it your way of life, being affectionately tender and loving, passionate and starry-eyed.

There are the 3 A's in romance: Adoration, Affection, and Attention.

Make it only about us, divide our precious walls from the world, may life only be special because of us. Speak with honour, sing us love songs, dedicate life to us, be a sweetheart, and shower us with gentle love, and care, and our prized possession that is our heart, will you have..

Truth or Consequences

The truth and nothing but the truth?

How do you determine the truth?

Can you face the consequences of the truth?

To trust the claims of another is a challenge.

No matter how close the partnership, there can always lie a deceit somewhere beneath and inside, or the inability to speak the veracity.
Be wary of the lie, be aware of the truth.

Smell the liar from afar, because surely you can tell, his pants are lighting fire.

Beauty: Natural VS Artificial

un-natural-beauty1 It's okay girls. You can go real.
Embrace your inner beauty, let it shine, and it will reflect as natural beauty.

But it's also alright to ask for additional help, by layering on the makeup, and wearing the fake hair.

It doesn't matter what the Divine has made you look like, just don't tamper too much, you can be eye candy with a smile and some pink glossy lips.

I agree concealing is important, and adding some colour, just don't overdo it with the excessive plucking and caking! Attempt to look artificially natural ;)

Absence and The Fonder Heart

At times we need to be separated, to appreciate love. It takes loss or absence, to trigger awakening in the heart, and a remembrance in the mind. The meaning of value, and importance, only comes to sense when we are apart, and words are all we have.

Being grateful is a virtuous art we must all practice. Treasure the dearest in your life, before it is taken away, because that day will come. Save yourself the pain early, don't wait for absence to alarm you to change. Act on love now, here and the present, show affection today, because tomorrow is not a promise.

Greener Grass on The Other Side

Even if you have it or own it, it's when another person wears it, that ironically, it looks more enticing. Perhaps it could be the way they carry it, pull it off - or just that, we're plain envious, and insecure.

It's always about the other side, the other person, the other fence. We praise others more than ourselves. We applaud her daughter for graduating, instead of our own. We dismiss the pair of wise lips before us, but pay more attention to another.

The notion of greener grass there is unhealthy. It may be human nature, but try to control and love what you have.

Passion for Fashion

rome-personal-shopperIt's a lifestyle to be fashionable and stylish. Getting in touch with your feminine side, celebrating being a woman, pairing and mixing up fabulous outfits, wearing the most chic fashion, and dressing up from hair to makeup, clothes and shoes, bags and accessories- all in the name of being fab and glam!

I am moved, shaken, and rocked, by beauty and style icons like Kim Kardashian, Jess Simpson, Queen Rania, Audrey Hepburn, and even Disney's Princess Jasmine! I love their taste, they look great in anything they throw on. None has failed to mesmerize me, inspire, and light up my burning envy!

Looking our best gives us a confidence booster, no matter the time of effort, and patience needed to groom. From the spa and sauna, hair salon, facial, french manicure, some poise and vogue choice,
you'll be good to go and feeling superb to do so!

Embracing fashion forward doesn't mean you have to invest in splendor labels, average brands can still offer you hot trends and great bargains. It's all down to how you carry yourself, pull the elegance off- and in no time you'll be the town's new sassy sensation! :)

Sleeping Beauty

Sleep girls Sleep! 7 hours a day! You need it!

Get those shut eyes deep in dreamland; beauty sleep is VERY important! Rest, Rest, Rest! No one can perform without sleep. And no beautyista looks fabulous without sufficient sleep. We want to hear you talking, not yawning.

You won't need concealers to camouflage those dark circles, and puffy eye bags, if you're sleeping well and enough. But still- don't stop lounging with some cool cucumbers or chilled tea bags  during down time!  Bloated, sleep deficient eyes are unacceptable. The magical concealer won't suffice! Supply yourself with extra hours of dozing and snoring, tonight!
Treat yourself to cat naps, turn in earlier, work on getting long, uninterrupted sleep, and you'll be feeling fresh and looking good! Enough sleep makes your skin gorgeous, replenishes energy, and keeps your body operating. Lavish on additional time, stock up your tank of sleep, but don't fill it up to the brim! Curl up under a cozy blanket, hug a pillow, and enjoy the lovely.

Yes girls, embrace the life of sleeping beauty! :)
